Never having been the quiet type, my singing, writing, and poetry has led me to enter the world of self-publishing and blogging.  Now the excitement of launching my own books has fueled an enthusiasm I can barely contain.

 

Greetings from Burlington located on the eastern plains of Colorado, just 12 miles west of the Kansas border on I-70. We are a farming community of about 4,000 hard working, fun-loving and compassionate people.

 

These people and this land won my heart and began shaping my life in May of 1971 when this California girl married one of their own small town sons, Ruben Schaal, Jr. ( RJ in the Clea the Clever Caterpillar series.) What a ride… and what a privilege it has been!

 

I am looking forward to journeying with you through this chapter of our lives via social networking. My love of people and penchant for sharing my heart compels me and my faith in God through His Son, Jesus Christ, emboldens me.
